CityWalk 2.0 is a project of the Transnational Danube Program. The project aims to promote energy-efficient urban mobility, i.e. it supports the transition to active urban mobility through rethinking the design of certain streets and changing travel habits. The CityWalk project also helps cities in the Danube region to reduce CO2 emissions, noise and become safer, better places to live, increasing the role of more sustainable forms of mobility in the urban transport mix, especially active forms of transport - such as walking and cycling.
The lead partner in this project is the Municipality of Ptuj (Slovenia), and in addition to the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, 12 other partners from the Danube area are involved in this project (Hungary, Romania, Austria, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Czech Republic, Croatia...).
